CyberScout Promotes Two Executives to Strengthen Leadership Team

CyberScout, America’s leading identity management and identity theft education and resolution services provider, has announced two executive promotions to strengthen its leadership team – Sean Daly has been promoted to president and chief operating officer, and Sandy Strauss has been named executive vice president. The moves are the next logical step in the company’s growth from a start-up entrepreneurial business to become the leader in identity theft resolution and comprehensive data breach notification and resolution services in six short years.

“As we expand and strengthen our senior management team, CyberScout is fortunate to have individuals of the caliber of Sean Daly and Sandy Strauss to help us continue our market leadership,” said CEO Matt Cullina. “Their broad experience will provide strategic direction as we continue to deliver world-class identity management and resolution services, as well as comprehensive data breach services to our clients and their customers.” 

Daly, formerly CyberScout’s chief financial officer, is responsible for company operations, technology and business development and will assist with emerging market business. He has nearly 20 years of cross-disciplinary experience and will help drive the organization's operating processes, financial strategies and growth objectives. 

Before joining CyberScout in 2008, Daly was senior vice president and chief financial officer at Camden National Corporation, a $2.3 billion publicly traded community bank. He previously worked in the telecommunications industry as founder and chief operating officer at QGO, LLC, a Wi-Fi services company, and director of business development at its related telecommunications services company, QC2, LLC in Rhode Island. 

Daly has held various financial management positions with FleetBoston Financial, Citizens Financial Group, Putnam Investments and Melville Corporation. He began his career at KPMG in Providence, R.I. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in accounting from Bryant College.

Sandy Strauss, previously director of human resources at CyberScout's, has 15 years of progressive experience in quality, marketing, operations and human resources for a number of service-based companies. 

Before joining CyberScout in 2008, she was director of human resources for the Richard Petty Driving Experience, a multi-state motorsports entertainment company. During her tenure there, she also directed corporate marketing and managed call center operations.

For more than a decade, Strauss worked for an international management consulting firm, Six Sigma Qualtec, where she led the HR consulting arm that supported organizational and cultural changes involved in implementing Six Sigma initiatives with clients in the U.S., Canada and Asia. She was part of the initial start-up team, assisted in the organization’s design and development and worked in marketing for four years before progressing to HR director. Previously, she worked for Florida Power & Light, which was awarded the prestigious Deming Award for quality during her tenure.

Strauss has been the president and a board member of the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. She has a master's degree in organizational development from Pepperdine University and a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of South Florida.
