Data Breach Services Provided to USLI Customers by CyberScout

CyberScout (www.cyberscout.com), America’s leading identity theft resolution and education services provider, announced its partnership with United States Liability Insurance.

CyberScout is providing select USLI professional liability policyholders with comprehensive data breach and identity theft services.
“There’s no question that data breaches are becoming more prevalent, and the current economic downturn is creating additional opportunities for identity thieves,” said Matthew Cullina, CEO of CyberScout. “Consumers and business owners need peace of mind that their personal, customer and employee data is protected, plus expert tools, advice and services for both identity theft and data breach prevention and resolution.”

As part of the partnership:

Professional liability policyholders are included automatically in CyberScout’s “Total911” solution that provides both proactive measures to help reduce the risks of a breach and expert post-breach services to assess, communicate and resolve it.

Employees of the business and their immediate household members will have access to CyberScout’s “LifeStages” program for expert one-on-one resolution services and consultation from certified fraud specialists, plus credit and fraud monitoring tools, during various life events when consumers are particularly vulnerable to identity theft.

Policyholders will have dedicated online access to CyberScout’s proactive educational material, including daily threat alerts, investigative articles, monthly newsletters, white papers and tips.

“Our goal is to provide institutions with innovative and responsive education and resolution solutions that protect their customers, their data and the reputations of their businesses from today’s risks,“ Cullina continued. “We applaud USLI for being among the first professional liability insurers to recognize that data breaches are now happening at businesses of all sizes and for providing their policyholders with the appropriate proactive protection and reactive services.”
