Farmers Alliance Provides CyberScout Resolution Service Free to All Farm and Homeowner Policyholders

Farmers Alliance Companies announced today a partnership with CyberScout® to provide the nation’s premier identity theft resolution services to all farm and homeowner policyholders and their families, at no additional charge.  Any Farmers Alliance farm or homeowner policyholder who becomes a victim of identity theft will receive free access to the fraud specialists at CyberScout, America’s leading provider of identity theft resolution and education services.

“Identity theft can impact anyone, anywhere,” said Farmers Alliance President and CEO L. Keith Birkhead.  “This isn’t just a city problem.  Rural people are as susceptible as anyone.”  More than 40 percent of Farmers Alliance’s total business is written in the farm insurance area, with policyholders living in nine states.  All Farmers Alliance farm and homeowner policyholders are included under the new partnership.

  • Fraud alerts placed with all three credit bureaus 
  • Step-by-step review of credit reports from all three bureaus 
  • Assistance preparing the Fraud Victim Affidavit and all other needed documents 
  • Assistance notifying all relevant businesses, agencies and institutions 
  • Assistance replacing checks, credit cards and debit cards 
  • A full year of credit monitoring and fraud monitoring 
  • A full year of active follow-up after resolution 
  • All services also apply to immediate family members
