Former CEO of The Motorists Insurance Group Joins CyberScout Board

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., February 18, 2014 – CyberScout, a leader in identity management and data risk management services, today announced John Bishop as the company’s newest board member. Bishop currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board of The Motorists Insurance Group, one of the top 25 mutual property and casualty insurance organizations in the United States, and Chairman of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC).

CyberScout provides 50 percent of the property and casualty market with identity theft management services and is looking to Bishop’s expertise to increase partnerships with insurance companies. He has strong industry ties with mutual insurance companies, making CyberScout poised for additional expansion in this area.

Under Bishop’s leadership as CEO, The Motorists Insurance Group more than doubled in size and now ranks as one of the top 25 mutual property and casualty insurance organizations in the United States. He is actively involved in numerous civic and industry organizations and is serving as Chairman of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) for 2013-2014. Bishop is a graduate of Ohio Northern University and holds both the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional insurance designations.
