CyberScout®, a leading provider of identity management and data breach solutions, today announced the appointment of Matt Cullina as chief executive officer. Matt is a veteran of the insurance industry who recently joined CyberScout from MetLife with key experience in creating innovative products and services. The company also announced that former CEO Sheryl Christenson has been named vice chair of the company’s board and Steve Christenson will remain as president.
“Matt’s business and consumer background gives us the perfect springboard to create new products and services for our growing list of clients,” said Sheryl Christenson. “His leadership will allow us to expand beyond our core identity management services to comprehensive data breach solutions for individuals, businesses and their employees.”
"Our latest research shows that while consumers and businesses are increasingly at risk for identity theft and data breaches, many do not have access to the best fraud professionals, information and tools to manage these threats.” said Cullina. “CyberScout has built a solid foundation based on trust, education and advocacy to help navigate this growing problem.”
Cullina joined CyberScout from MetLife Auto & Home Insurance Company, where he served as Director of Product Management. In addition to acting as new CEO, Matt will be heading up CyberScout’s newly opened Providence, Rhode Island satellite office to better service the Scottsdale, Arizona-based company’s extensive East Coast client list.
