Insurance Veteran Matt Cullina Appointed Executive Vice President of CyberScout

CyberScout®, a leading provider of identity management and data breach solutions, today announced the appointment of Matt Cullina as Executive Vice President who will open a new office in Providence to better serve the Scottsdale, Arizona-based company’s strong presence on the East Coast.

A veteran of the insurance industry with more than 15 years of experience, Cullina joins CyberScout from MetLife Auto & Home Insurance Company, where he served as Director of Product Management.  Prior to that, he spent over 10 years focused on Commercial Lines, where he managed large loss claims and coverage litigation for both Fireman’s Fund and The Travelers Insurance Companies.

“Matt will take the lead in managing our East Coast client relationships from our new Providence office,” said CyberScout CEO Sheryl Christenson. “This will enhance our support network for our growing client base and positions us for further expansion.”

Cullina will report to Steve and Sheryl Christenson, co-founders of CyberScout and also take the lead on new product initiatives.  “We are thrilled to tap Matt’s extensive product development skills and networks as we continue to innovate; expanding beyond our core identity theft resolution services to comprehensive, identity management and data breach solutions for individuals, businesses and their employees,” said CyberScout President Steve Christenson.

"We face challenging times, as consumers and businesses are increasingly at risk to identity theft and data breaches,” said Cullina. “CyberScout has built a solid foundation based on trust, education and expert, white glove advocacy.   I am excited to build upon this foundation, to continue to aid victims, focus on prevention and consumer empowerment, and deliver the greatest value to our clients and their customers.”
