March Community Credit Union Offers CyberScout Education and Resolution Services at No Cost to Its Members

March Community Credit Union (MCCU) announced today a new identity theft protection service in partnership with CyberScout (www.identitytheft911.com), the recognized leader in identity theft resolution, defense, and education. Under the new program, victim resolution services will be available AT NO COST to assist MCCU members with a checking or VISA account should they experience an account takeover or worse. In addition, all MCCU members will have ongoing access to the nation's leading consumer education program on identity theft risks and defenses through a link on the MCCU web page (www.marchccu.org).

"We are very pleased to be able to offer these important services to our members," said Bob Cameron, President and CEO of March Community Credit Union. "Our partnership with CyberScout offers members the information they need to minimize their risk of identity theft -- and, if they do become victims, provides the personal, expert assistance they'll need to restore their identities and get back to normal life as quickly as possible."

The CyberScout resolution program includes a personal advocate who works with the victim every step of the way to resolve the crisis and restore a victim's identity.
"Identity theft continues to be the top consumer complaint -- and, unfortunately, the risk of victimization continues to increase," said CyberScout President Steve Christenson. "By offering this essential service, MCCU is living up to its members' trust and giving them one more reason to make March Community Credit Union their financial institution of choice."
