Wawanesa Insurance Joins with CyberScout for Resolution, Disaster Recovery, and Travel Assistance

Wawanesa Insurance has partnered with CyberScout® to grant its California-based residential policyholders free access to professional fraud specialists, should they fall victim to identity theft.  CyberScout is a leading provider of identity theft management, education and resolution services.
According to the Federal Trade Commission, many major cities in California are among the “Top 50 Identity Theft-Prone Cities” in the country (i.e. San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento and others).  Wawanesa’s residential policyholders now have the piece-of-mind knowing that CyberScout will resolve any fraud-related issues, including those arising from a natural disaster or traveling abroad.

“I believe it is fair to say that many of us don’t know whom to call after learning we’ve been victimized by identity theft,” said David J. Goss, V.P. of United States Operations for Wawanesa.  “Not knowing where to start can be overwhelming and frustrating. By providing our policyholders with CyberScout Resolution Services, a personal advocate works one-on-one to guide them through the entire resolution process. Our policyholders save time and minimize the stress endured by utilizing these services.”
